Winsor Squash

We had a tri-match with St George's School and Brooks School two weeks ago. Here are the results:

We had three matches that ended up in 5 long games. Unfortunately Junnat and Caroline Green lost in the 5th game, but without a doubt they put on a big fight on court. The longest and most tiring match award goes to Alexa Jacobs who has managed to save a bunch of match points from her opponent and after taking control, she won the 5th game 16-14. Great job girls, we love watching you play these very tight games.

We had a much easier second round with Brooks and we won all of our completed matches. Unfortunately, there were two injuries that prevented to finish two of the matches. Poor Casey got hit in the 3rd game, so she had to default her match and Caroline M.'s opponent rolled her ankle during the first game, so they couldn't finish the match.
